Why I built this

A few years ago, I had to renew a learner’s license, and it took me three tries just to get past a single confusing screen on the state portal. There was no clear guide anywhere, just outdated forum posts and people trying to sell “fast track” services for something that should have taken ten minutes. I started keeping my own notes every time I went through an RTO process, and MyRTOBuddy grew out of those notes.

It’s the page I wish someone had handed me on day one. The actual steps, in plain language, straight from the official portal. Nothing padded, nothing sold.

I write and check every guide myself, so I’m the one responsible for it. If something is wrong, you can reach me directly by phone or email, and I’ll fix it.

What you can count on

How this site works, stated plainly.

Independent, not a government site

MyRTOBuddy is not run by, or linked to, Parivahan, any RTO or any government department. Every guide sends you to the official portal to apply.

Free to read, supported by ads

There is no sign-up and nothing to pay. The site may show ads from Google AdSense, and ads never decide what a guide says.

Nothing you type is stored

The tools on this site run in your browser. Dates, codes or answers you enter in them are not saved or sent anywhere.

Checked on the real portal

Each guide is tested on the official portal before it goes live, and re-checked when something changes. The full process is in the Editorial Policy.

No agents, no shortcuts

MyRTOBuddy doesn’t offer “express” processing or agent connections. Every guide points you straight to the official government portal. You apply and pay there directly, never through us.
